SVEN HAMMOND
Founded in 2006, by which the band released 9 albums (including several live). On April 16th 2021 their new album, their 10th, a tribute to Jazz-legend Thelonious Monk, titled 'Sphere' was released. This album contains also hiphop and soul elements with collaborations with Typhoon, Cheyenne Toney, Zoë Love Smith, Gianski and Akwasi.
The band is currently working on writing and recording their new album which is due for release early 2025 with the first single 'It's Alright' being released in May 2024.
PHILIP LASSITER
Rooted in Texas Funk, Alabama Gospel, New Orleans Jazz and Nashville Soul, Philip Lassiter is an 11-time Grammy award winning horn/string arranger and former section leader/arranger of Prince and The New Power Generation.
Philip has also been arranger and trumpet player for many iconic artists including Kirk Franklin, Roberto Falck, Kelly Rowland, Amderson.Paak, Al Jarreau, The Isley Brothers and Lee Ann Womack. He has performed on stages around the world and is currently working on new music to be released in 2024/2025.
SVEN FIGEE
Apart from being founder, musician and director of Sven Hammond, Sven Figee also has another 'side' of his musical career, almost as a sort of a chameleon. He released solo-work with regards to classical music, by which he performs solo, with Orbi or together with The Residential Orchestra a.o.
Sven had done the 'Van Bach To Blues Theatertour in early 2022 as well. New music by both Orbi and shows with the Noord-Nederlands Orchestra are coming up.
MARTIN JASPER
Martin Jasper is a singer/songwriter in heart and soul. Martijn Roggeveen, as the artist is called in real life, started his own sound in the indie scene in Amsterdam. he took an example from Ed Sheeran, Dermot Kennedy & Ben Howard. in 2017 he signed with the US publisher The Bus in Nashville. What followed was an extensive period of writing music in LA, London, Nashville and Philadelphia among other places. During these sessions he had the opportunity to work with the likes of Sacha Skarbek (Adele, James Blunt), Pete Stewart (Macklemore) and David Turely (Millie Turner).
In 2021 Martin Jasper returned to The Netherlands and released his first single 'How To Be Friends' (release @ Cloud 9 Music), followed by 3 more single and the EP'Paper Cut' in early 2023. Martin was part of the PopRonde in 2023 and toured with 'The Songwriters Club' in Q1 2024. In May 2024 his new single 'Let You Go' was released (PIAS NL) with more music to be followed soon this year.
MY BABY
For this of you not yet familiar with the Dutch-New Zealand trio: they play roots and rock driven alternative dance. It's a sound shaped by blues and slide guitar mixed with psychedelic riffs and rises. A true angelic but raw and heartfelt voice, and pumping and organic beats. All played on guitar and drums. They have been playing to audiences worldwide since 2012 featuring on renowned festivals such as Glastonbury, Isle of Wight (UK), Sziget (HU), Lowlands and Pinkpop (NL). In October 2024 the band will start their first ever theatre-tour in The Netherlands. They also are working on new songs.
